Cookie Policy.

Tiny files the site saves on your device. This page says what they do, who else sets them, and how to switch them off.

What they are

Almost every professional website uses cookies. They are small files downloaded to your computer to make the visit work better.

How we use them

They keep you signed in, remember form details, and help the newsletter. If you are not sure, leave them on so those features keep working.

How to turn them off

Change the setting in your browser help. Turning cookies off will usually break some parts of this site, and many other sites too.

More information

Email hello@roboshadow.com if you have a question. We will answer it in plain English.

The cookies we set

Four jobs on this site

These are the cookies RoboShadow itself sets. Most drop away when you log out. A few stay so the site still knows your preferences next time.

TypeWhat it does
Account Used if you create an account, for sign-up and day-to-day admin. Usually deleted when you log out. Sometimes one stays so we remember your preferences while you are logged out.
Login Remembers that you are signed in, so you do not have to log in on every new page. Cleared when you log out, so private areas stay private.
Newsletter Remembers if you already subscribed, and whether to show notices that only apply to subscribed or unsubscribed people.
Forms When you send a contact or comment form, a cookie may remember your details so you do not have to type them again next time.
Third party cookies

Cookies set by people we trust

In a few cases, trusted third parties set cookies through this site. You may meet these:

Google Analytics

Helps us see how the site is used and how to improve it. These cookies can note how long you stay and which pages you open. See the official Google Analytics page for their detail.

Other analytics

Used to measure use of the site so we can keep the content useful. They may track time on the site or pages you visit.

Social buttons

Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Google may set cookies if you use their buttons or plugins. Those cookies follow each company's own privacy policy.

Still unsure?

This page is the public cookie policy, rewritten so it is easy to scan. Email us if you want the same facts in more detail.
